Sister Christa Cunningham is 80-years-young. After recently celebrating 60 years as a Sinsinawa Dominican Sister, she took the time to share insights from her life in ministry in an interview with SOAR!.

“From the vantage point at which I am, I see many possibilities for us as Sisters of the Living Word in keeping connected with the technological resources available as the future progresses.”

When you get to know Sister Mary Fallon, you quickly realize she is a powerhouse of activity and spirit.

Sister “Theo,” as the Sisters affectionately call her, has touched countless lives.

God has a plan for each one of us that has everything to do with our happiness.  We have only to be bold in our choice to be generous with God.  He will not be outdone in His generosity!

Sister Jean reflects on her 101 years of life: “I have truly loved my time with the students and believed I saw God in them.”

“I can speak for all the elder Sisters when I say that the new mini-van we have drives so smoothly and isn’t bumpy at all and most importantly we don’t have to worry about breaking down on the freeway!”

“The help our community received from SOAR! to purchase a handicap accessible van has helped me deal with being dependent.”

“I entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1946 and throughout my seventy-two-year blessed journey with our Loving God, wonderful Sisters and many other companions, feel gratitude and praise for the wonder of it all.”
