At the May meeting of the SOAR! board of directors, members approved grants for a total of $1,125,621 to 644 religious congregations of women and men in 19 states.

SOAR!’s 2012 Award Dinner in Washington, DC, was held at the Mellon Auditorium on November 2, 2012. The 2012 Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Honorees are siblings Reverend William D. Byrne and Sister Deirdre Byrne, MD, POSC.

SOAR! held its 2012 New York Award Dinner at the New York Athletic Club on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. The 2012 Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Honoree was Mr. Michael Maron, CEO of Holy Name Medical Center. The 2012 Father Victor Yanitelli, S.J. Award Recipient was Sister Catherine O’Leary, Executive Director of Women Helping Women.

SOAR! is pleased to announce the 2012 Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Honorees are the Reverend William D. Byrne, Sister Deirdre Byrne, MD, POSC, and Mr. Michael Maron, CEO of Holy Name Medical Center.

SOAR! Awards Nearly $1 Million in Grants

At the February meeting of the SOAR! board of directors, members approved grantsfor a total of almost $1 million to 62 religious congregations of women and men in 17 states. These grants will benefit over 3,500 women and men religious at a median age of 77.
