Prayer for Every Day

Loving God,
thank you for the gift of a new day.
Grant us the wisdom to be present
to your abundant grace
to be found in every moment –
in joys and worries, sorrows and smiles.
In our busyness give us rest
In our loneliness, give us solitude.
In our anxiety, give us trust.
Faithfully, you walk with us.
Guide our steps this day so we can be
Present to others, especially those in need.
Thank you, Lord.  AMEN.
