Joseph Mack

As the Grants Program Associate for SOAR!, Joseph works with applicants to ensure to that SOAR! receives the necessary information during the application process. He reviews the accuracy of grant applications and responds to inquiries about grants and application opportunities. 

A Virginia native and student athlete growing up, Joseph is an Eagle Scout and comes from a large Irish-Catholic family. Prior to joining SOAR!, he worked for the Salvation Army and received his Bachelor’s in Religious Studies and Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.

In his youth, he was inspired to join the elementary school orchestra by his great aunt, Sister Anna Marie Mack, a prolific piano instructor, which sparked his present-day love for making music. He likes to spend his spare time with friends and family, making music, going to concerts, and eating great food.
