On Wednesday, 6 October 2010, at the Union League Club, New York, NY SOAR! honored Sister Francis Raftery, SC with the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Award. Father Benedict Groeschel, CFR received the Father Victor Yanitelli, SJ Award.

Sister Kathleen Lunsmann, IHM, is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She is thrilled to be a part of SOAR! as its President and is committed to the mission of SOAR! and helping aging religious.

Sister Francis Raftery and Father Benedict J. Groeschel will be the honorees at the 24th annual benefit dinner for Support Our Aging Religious (SOAR!). The dinner will take place at The Union League Club in Manhattan on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 beginning at 6pm. The dinner benefits the frail and elderly religious through grants for everything from life saving medical equipment to repair and construction costs.
