Kristen Wise

Kristen oversees the grants program and assists applicants throughout the process and manages the grants program database. She also serves as the main point of contact for SOAR! and assists the president in an administrative capacity.

Kristen hails from southeast Texas where she spent 13 years as a youth minister and coordinator of funeral ministry.  She finds involvement with SOAR! as a way to live the Catholic social teachings and loves being an advocate for aging religious in need.

When she isn’t working, Kristen enjoys exploring undiscovered pockets of DC, the arts, live music, and gourmet cooking.  She loves anything chocolate and all things Disney. As the industry co-chair for the Washington Metropolitan Postal Customer Council, she also works as an advocate for nonprofits and their postal concerns.
