Sister Francis Raftery and Father Benedict J. Groeschel will be the honorees at the 24th annual benefit dinner for Support Our Aging Religious (SOAR!). The dinner will take place at The Union League Club in Manhattan on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 beginning at 6pm. At its winter meeting in Washington, DC, the board of directors of Support Our Aging Religious (SOAR!) approved the award of 58 grants totaling $1 million that will benefit 58 religious congregations across 24 states and Puerto Rico.
